This past spring, we reached a big milestone and have now served over 5,000 girls across WNC with our life-enhancing programs. Not only have we continued to grow our programs, but we now serve Yancey County – expanding our territory to 13 WNC counties.

“As we approach our 10-year anniversary in Spring 2012, we are excited about the strength and success of our programs,” says Executive Director, Audrey McElwain, “we look forward to continuing to serve and meet the needs of girls in WNC for the next ten years.”

Girls on the Run of WNC expects to serve over 1000 girls in fall 2010 and spring 2011. Fall program sites have just been posted – please visit our ‘Locations’ page for more information on program sites and registration dates.
